Mobile Tyre Fitting in Warrington

Warrington, the Thelwall Viaduct and three motorways - 24 hours a day.

Warrington sits where the M6, M62 and M56 all come close together, which makes it one of the busiest road junctions in the north of England. The Thelwall Viaduct carries the M6 over the Manchester Ship Canal here.

The Thelwall Viaduct

It is high, long and exposed, and the hard shoulder is not generous. Crosswinds are noticeable. If a tyre fails on it and the car will still roll slowly, getting off the structure before stopping is much the better option.

If you cannot, get out on the passenger side and stand as far from the carriageway as the layout allows.

  • Find your locking wheel nut key. Without it the wheel cannot come off. It is usually in the glovebox, the boot well, or with the spare.
  • Read your tyre size off the sidewall, for example 205/55 R16 91V, so we arrive with the right tyre rather than making a second trip.
  • If you are on a motorway or dual carriageway, get out on the passenger side and wait behind the barrier — not in the car.
