Mobile Tyre Fitting Across England
We come to your home, workplace or roadside — 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Wheel Fit is a mobile tyre fitting service. Instead of you driving to a garage on a damaged tyre, a fitted van comes to wherever your vehicle already is: a driveway, an office car park, a supermarket bay or the hard shoulder. We carry the tools, the balancer and the stock to finish the job on the spot.
We have drivers across most of England and a maximum 60 minute response to any city we cover. See the areas we cover, or just call and we will tell you straight away whether you are in range.
When you ring we will ask for three things: your tyre size (it is written on the sidewall), your location, and whether the vehicle is somewhere safe. From that we can quote a price and a realistic arrival time before you commit to anything.
How a mobile tyre fitting works
- You call with your tyre size. The size is moulded into the sidewall, for example 205/55 R16 91V — width, profile, rim diameter, then load and speed rating.
- We quote before we travel. You get the tyre price and the fitting cost up front, so there is nothing to negotiate on a hard shoulder.
- The van comes to the vehicle. We fit the tyre, balance the wheel and set the pressures on site.
- We take the old tyre away. Casings are removed for recycling, so you do not have to deal with disposal.

Repair or replace?
Not every puncture needs a new tyre, and we will tell you which one you are dealing with rather than defaulting to the more expensive answer. A car tyre can only be repaired within a defined central portion of the tread, and the damage has to be within a permitted size limit.
Damage to the sidewall or shoulder cannot be repaired safely, and neither can a tyre that has been driven on while flat, because the internal structure will already have broken down. In those cases replacement is the only correct option. Read more about mobile tyre repair.

Roadside and motorway call-outs
We cover roadside and motorway breakdowns around the clock. If you have stopped on a motorway, get yourself behind the barrier and away from the carriageway before you call anyone, and use the nearest marker post to tell us exactly where you are.
One thing worth checking before you ring: if your car has locking wheel nuts, we cannot remove the wheel without the key. It is usually in the glovebox, in the boot well, or stored with the spare. Finding it in advance saves a wasted visit.
Vans and light commercial vehicles
We also fit commercial tyres for vans, minibuses and other light commercial vehicles, from short-wheelbase up to long-wheelbase. Van tyres are usually marked with a C for commercial and carry a higher load rating than a car tyre of the same size, so fitting a car tyre in its place is not a like-for-like swap.
