Mobile Tyre Fitting in Liverpool

Liverpool, the M62 approach and the dock road - 24 hours a day.

Maximum 60 minute response. We have drivers across most of England, so a call gets a fitter to the vehicle rather than you moving a car that is not safe to move. Call 07989 606060 with your tyre size and location.

Liverpool has a distinctive mix for tyre work: a dense city centre, a long industrial dock corridor, and two river tunnels where stopping is not an option at all.

Roads we get called to around Liverpool

  • M62 — the main approach from the east, ending at the A5080.
  • M57 and M58 — the outer routes towards Skelmersdale and the north.
  • A5036 Dock Road — heavy lorry traffic, and rough surfaces that are hard on sidewalls.
  • Queensway and Kingsway tunnels under the Mersey.

If you are in a Mersey tunnel

Do not stop in the tunnel if there is any way to avoid it. If the vehicle will still move at low speed, keep going and pull in once you are out and somewhere safe. If it genuinely cannot move, use the emergency phones and follow the tunnel police instructions — they manage the space and will recover you out of it before anyone can work on the car.

We cannot work inside the tunnels, and neither can anyone else.

Dock traffic and van tyres

The dock corridor is commercial vehicle territory, and van tyres are not car tyres: they carry a C marking and a higher load rating. If a loaded van is off the road it is usually costing you a shift, so say so when you call. More on our commercial tyre fitting page.

Before we arrive


  • Find your locking wheel nut key. Without it the wheel cannot come off. It is usually in the glovebox, the boot well, or with the spare.
  • Read your tyre size off the sidewall, for example 205/55 R16 91V, so we arrive with the right tyre rather than making a second trip.
  • If you are on a motorway or dual carriageway, get out on the passenger side and wait behind the barrier — not in the car.
