The primary roads

Like all new-town networks, these are fast dual carriageways separated by roundabouts, and they look very similar to one another. The M54 and the A5

Where the motorway ends and becomes the A5 is a transition worth knowing about: the standard of the road changes, and so does the amount of refuge available. If you are heading into Shropshire or Wales with a suspect tyre, deal with it before that point rather than after.
